The European Congress of Radiology (ECR) 2025, held February 26 to March 2 in Vienna, Austria, gathered over 20,500 attendees from 131 countries for five remarkable days of scientific exchange, education, and innovation. As Europe’s premier radiology meeting—and the second‑largest worldwide—ECR attracts radiologists, technologists, physicists, researchers, and industry thought-leaders from across the globe.

This year’s overarching theme, “Planet Radiology,” foregrounded the critical nexus of planetary health, sustainability, and global healthcare equity. The programme explored how radiology can address environmental challenges, drive equitable access to imaging, and promote socially responsible practices in healthcare.
